Korean Air is getting ready to welcome more passengers onboard for the summer season with bigger aircraft and more flights.
The airline is updating its Boeing 747-400 air service for the summer. It will be using a 365-seater on its Seoul Gimpo-Jeju route from June 1 through September 14, and a 404-seater aircraft on its routes to Seoul Gimpo-Jeju, Seoul Gimpo-Shanghai, Seoul Incheon-Bangkok, Seoul Incheon-Beijing, and Seoul Incheon-Shanghai Pu Dong.
Dodatkowo linia planuje zwiększyć liczbę lotów Seul Incheon–Barcelona z 3 do 4 lotów tygodniowo na pokładzie samolotu 787-9 oraz jednego codziennego lotu na trasie Seul Incheon–Vancouver.
Większy samolot będzie używany latem na trasach Seul Incheon–Madryt i Seul Incheon–Toronto, zmieniając model z 787-9 na 789.
